a)    For the past 27 years Dr. Gilbert has specialized, and limited his practice to seeing only men with fertility, sexual dysfunction and hormonal issues. He is a Nationally and Internationally recognized expert in these areas.

b)   Bruce R Gilbert MD PhD is Professor of Urology at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine Hofstra and directs a Fellowship Program for Urologists wanting to specialize in Men’s Health and Male Reproductive and Male Sexual Medicine.  He is a prolific author of Medical textbooks, Journal articles and Educational videos.

c)    His Great Neck office is an exquisite, state-of-the-art facility where patients and their partners are greeted and treated respectfully and compassionately.

d)   Dr. Gilbert strongly believes that the patient’s time is valuable and that the initial examination should be comprehensive to provide as much information and advice as possible without the need for multiple visits.  Wait times are less than 10 minutes. Initial appointments are scheduled for 1 ½ to 2 hour appointment block and follow up appointments, if necessary, are scheduled for 30 to 45 minutes to provide time for the patient, and if the partner is present, to ask their questions and for Dr. Gilbert to appropriately respond.

e)   Dr. Gilbert’s practice is the only specialized Urology practice to have  a NY State licensed semen analysis (andrology) laboratory and sperm bank onsite. This allows Dr. Gilbert to discuss your results during your appointment.

f)     Ultrasound examinations have become an essential component of the examination of the man presenting with subfertility and/or sexual dysfunction. Require Ultrasound examinations are personally performed by Dr. Gilbert who is a recognized expert in Ultrasonography.  He has several published textbooks on Urologic Ultrasound. He teaches Ultrasound courses both nationally and internationally to Urologists around the country and has advanced the field of Urologic ultrasound through his publications and protocols on Urologic Ultrasound.
